I must confess its been a couple of years since I feel in love with Drybar products. The first styling tool I tried was the Tress Press Digital Styling Iron and at the time I had already tried 2 other well known brands but they were not good at all, one damaged my hair immensely and the other stopped working after a couple of months. What I loved about my Drybar flat iron was that it didn’t damaged my hair and I’ve had that same flat iron for 2 years now and Ive used it quiet a lot honestly and its in perfect condition still. Then I decided to get the Buttercup Blow Dryer and the Wrap Party Styling Wand and Drybar didn’t let me down I love them too they both leave my hair AMAZING, so when I got sent the Brushcrush to try out I was super excited to try it out and it blew me away how amazing it is !
The brush crush is the combination of a flat iron and a paddle brush, which is amazing ! I’ve always saw the commercials on TV showing similar products but never really tried one because I was not sure if it would actually work, so having the chance to try it out myself and from my fave brand was fab. I am so in love with it that I decided to make my first youtube video which is something I always had in the back of my mind doing but always push it back since its very intimidating but I wanted to share my thoughts about the brush crush so I decided to just do it.
Let me start by telling you why I now use it more than my flat iron since I never actually thought I would find anything that would work better so thats a huge deal. First of all, I don’t like taking ages doing my hair, don’t get me wrong I love styling but I always try to find ways so that the process is faster and I’ve notice that with the burshcrush it takes me less time to style my hair , I don’t burn myself since its a brush and the handle doesn’t heat up, I can comfortably use it without being worried of getting burn if I don’t grab it right or if it slips on my hands and also it doesn’t burn my hair either , it gives it a lot of volume to my hair and I LOVE IT since I always had to rely on dry shampoos or styling sprays to give volume to my hair and I no longer do so, since the brush crush takes care of that. My hair has a silky finish and is super smooth.
Whenever I use it, I always apply the Hot Toddy mist first and then start styling my hair and temperature wise I tend to use it at 380°F, but you can always adjust it all the way to 450°F which is pretty good. I can say from my personal experience Drybar is a fab brand and has not let me down ! Def recommend you trying it out and please let me know your thoughts about it!
