Let’s Talk about IPSY- January 2021
Hi lovelies !
I decided to share with you my thoughts about IPSY since I have been kindly sent their PR box for a few months now so I feel It’s about time for me to share what I think so far and I’m gonna share with you what I received on my January 20201 PR Box, so grab some coffee or tea (I’m actually having some coffee as I write this) and lets dig into the IPSY subscription box.
Let’s start with some of the basics, IPSY is a beauty subscription on a monthly basis, that offers different options to personalize your bag, you take a quiz that helps to personalize your bag since it lets them know details about yourself and also which products you are more interested on trying. I find this super useful since its not just a simple subscription its actually curated according to your needs. They offer different options when it comes down to subscriptions which is nice since you have options. Now lets talk about some of the options you have, starting with the Glam Bag which comes with 5 deluxe-size beauty products which I think its a really good option if you are like myself and you prefer to try products before you compromise on purchasing something that might not be the ideal for your skin or is just not what you are looking for, that is the main reason why I have always loved this type of subscriptions. The Glam bag is a $50 + value for only $12 a mont for mostly members and $132 a year for annual members. I can say that so far I have liked the products I have received and I have found some new faves. Here is the January Glam Bag I received this month.
I really like the products that I received this month since I find it well balanced between skincare and makeup. There’s some new brands for me so ill be trying some new products like Kinship, BYROE and Youth to the people and I see familiar brands like Cover FX ( love the Custom Enhancer Drops) and also from Stila but I haven’t tried these exact products this was definitely a lovely surprise. Something else I love is the cute bags they sent, they all go according the theme of the month and this month the theme is “Dream it “
Now let’s talk about the Glam Bag Plus which is another subscription available, this one is $25 a month and is a $120 + value and you receive 5 full size products personalized to you and you have the option of choosing tree of your five full-sized products. I also receive this one one the PR so here it is.
This one comes with a bigger bag than the Glam Bag and I really love all the products I have received on the Glam Bag Plus, since they honestly have sent some amazing products that are more on the high price, I definitely have enjoyed this January bag as well. This one is full of new products for me, I see some familiar brands like IGK of Anastasia Beverly Hills and I love the makeup brush by Laruce since I have previously received brushes on my October Glam bag Plus and I love them they are so soft and my go-to when doing my makeup so I’m loving the fact that they added one. I already tried the face mask from Florence that they sent this month and I am obsessed with it ! Head on to my Instagram @bekasummer to see how I apply it and before and after results. Last but not least the moisturizer by Purlisse is so hydrating and I love the scent. So as you can probably tell I am really happy with the products I received this month.
On the PR they added a lovely bottle which I wanted to show you and a Planner with a pen, which I am absolutely loving !
IPSY also offers a Glam Bag Ultimate which features eight full size products and four deluxe samples plus a theme makeup bag and this one is $50 a month and its a $250+ value which to be honest sounds pretty good. I haven’t personally tried this one but I’m considering it because I love the products that they have sent me by far and I think that it has definitely helped me to try different brands/products and its always nice to find new faves ones. Also the fact that I have received products that just by itself would cover the value of the bag, that is pretty amazing !
If you are looking to try beauty subscriptions this one is definitely one to try, it is only available in the U.S.
