Finding the Perfect Jacket for Autumn & translating trends to my own style -Part 1

Since Autumn is one of my favorite seasons and it’s finally around the corner I decided to start a little series of key pieces I feel essential in my wardrove and that I can easily dress up or down keeping myself comfy and my style casual but stylish at the same time this upcoming season

 One of the things I always make sure I have is a jacket that I can just easily throw on and be ready to go, it must be a super comfy one, not bulky and that can go with pretty much anything. I personally think a piece of clothing that won’t ran out of style is a military jacket and its always a safe bet, that’s why is one of my MUST haves in Autumn, either on green or black, this one I’m featuring  is from DSTLD and its amazing, I love the quality and how it adds so much style, it’s light and Perfect and by now you know that’s definitely my fave color lol . I previously had a Jcrew jacket which was my go to last year but the color kind of faded away in certain areas which was not good at all. Finding a jacket to replace that one was definitely on my Wishlist of things to get for Autumn. Then I tried this black military jacket and I didn’t knew what to expect since I’ve never tried DSTLD items before they specialize on denim. I am so glad I decided to give it a chance since I love absolutely LOVE it, you can adjust the waste and wear it differently by rolling up the sleeves adding. Another thing I find pretty good is the price, its not as expensive as the Jcrew one and its a thousand times better, I can definitely see my self wearing this a lot this Autumn. I decided to pair it up with my all time fave graphic tee to give it a super casual look and to add a more defined style, as for accessories I opted for my fave leopard print bag which I’ve had for a while now, I love that animal print is in style again so I’m definitely using it this fall.

Something I’ve been using quiet often are these fun cat eye sunglasses, I was not sure at all if I would like how they look on me since I never go for this style but Im obsessed with them.  Lastly I decided to wear these black Anckle boots since I feel they stylize my silhouette and complement the style I’m going for.

I always try to keep in my closet pieces that I find timeless and comfy so that I can go back to them if they are back in style or just simply if I fancy wearing them. 

I feel that currently theres a lot of trends at the moment that allow room for creativity and create an opportunity to get out of your comfort zone and try something new. Since I’ve been working on my style and trying to figure what I feel currently works best for me, I have decided to just try things and not be afraid of change. I feel that the break I had from everything has helped me to personally grow a lot and also has given me a second reminder to not forget to enjoy life and do what really makes your soul feel complete and happy. Lately I’ve been making little changes and trying things or doing things that I used to just keep in the back of my mind as thoughts because I believed it wouldn’t work or it was wishful thinking and let me tell you that I am amazed of the outcome whenever I do this, the feeling of actually doing things and not only keeping them as wishful thinking is amazing, I’ve come to realize that it’s not good to overthink about something and create our own conclusions without even knowing what really can happen. Im definitely trying to learn to live in the NOW and also to push myself to do more things than before. There’s a book I find myself going back to re-reading it when I feel needed and its called ”You Are a Badass” by Jen Since, Love this book definitely recommend it.

You are the only you that will ever be. You are kind of a BIG DEAL
