Finding the right products for my hair took me a while since theres endless options. Ever since I decided it was time to start changing my hair color again, I knew that one of the things I had to do before starting the process, was to find products that would prevent my hair from being super damaged. Some of these products I’ve used for several months and others where recently added a couple of months.
Changing my hair color to a gold pink peachy tone was something I always had in the back of my head but I never felt confident enough to do it. Until I decided to just give it a try and it definitely is as they say “if you never try, you never know’. Before making this drastic change of hair color, I wanted to make sure my hair was as healthy as I could possibly have it, so that it wouldn’t end up as damaged. So I started trying different hair products, that claimed to do different things. Before I didn’t actually used to apply as many products on my hair because I didn’t felt I needed it but now i can totally see the difference it made in my hair.
The 1st one is OLAPEX. Definitely amazing, I was able to see great results after the first application and as Ive continue to use it I see how my hair looks healthier. I started using it 2 months before changing my hair color and continue using it till this day. Olaplex definitely saved my hair, since I decided to add more pink tone to my hair at home I bought the Loreal semi-permanent color which unfortunately damaged my hair more than I expected and also made it a bit more difficult to remove the color when I decided it was time for a summer look. I definitely learned a lot throughout this process, and couldn’t of done the change of color without my stylist, definitely recommend doing it changes like this at a salon. If i wouldn’t of used olaplaex I don’t think my hair would of resist so much chemicals and not be super damaged.
Another product I’ve been using for a while is the Bumbe&bumble its been years now since I first started using it. This is my favorite heat/uv protector always like protecting my hair from styling tools and I’ve seen how it actually protects my hair. It has a fresh scent and doesn’t make my hair greasy, to me is a MUST now to always prime my hair.
UNITE Hair 7 Seconds Condition Leave. I started using it thanks to my hairdresser, and it definitely does what it claims. It detangles my hair and conditions, I’d say this one and the bumble&bumble are pretty similar but I find myself using more this one lately. I feel that it helps to style my hair faster and I don’t have to brush it much as I would without it.
The Kevin.Murphy Anti-frizz treatment is a new fave of mine now and its amazing ! definitely helps to eliminate frizz and makes my hair smooth, I only use a small amount of product to avoid making my hair greasy, but its amazing because my hair looks super hydrated and silky. Love it and also has a beautiful scent I apply it all over my hair. I feel that the Unite Hair 7 Seconds Condition and this make a super good combination along with the next product.
Last but not least is the UNITE Hair U Oil, which I use all the time, always as my last step before drying my hair since I love how it adds shine to the ends and hydrates, a little goes a long way.
I’ve been obsessed with this combo and really happy with the way its maintaining my hair looking and feeling healthy. It may seem as many products but that what I’ve found works for my hair. You can always remove some or just use what you feel your hair needs. Which are your fave hair products?
